What We Do
Whatever your vision, we will help bring it to life. For 25 years meia have been designing, making and installing bespoke moving elements in architecture. Our range of unique products includes roofs, floors, windows, walls, winter gardens and access systems. Highlights include a reconfigurable desk, a rising wardrobe, a disappearing massage table and a 100m2 opening glass roof with huge pieces of glass.
History
meia was originally started by Monty Ravenscroft, whose extraordinary Peckham House was on Grand Designs, and who is currently featured on Inside Out Homes on Channel 4. meia has become a highly experienced team of specialists providing a design-led service from initial idea through to installed reality and onto tailored maintenance arrangements.

Design Features
The meia total design process creates reliable, safe and long lasting products. Clean lines and best quality materials make our products aesthetically delightful. We focus on minimal visibility of our frames and drive systems so that, whether open or closed, they often can’t be seen at all.
How We Work
Our professional team of design engineers work closely with clients to develop unique solutions. Once authorised, a design engineer is assigned to your job and will be your point of contact from handover to completion. meia can make any element within a construction project move; we love the challenge of creating unusual elements to our exceptionally high standard.
“Everyone I deal with at meia is a joy.”
– Peter Mishcon, of Mishcon Associates Architects
